Gone

by ash   Jan 23, 2006

Laying in her bed
So cold and alone
Clutching a pillow
Wishing it was him
Tears are streaming
Down her face
And the blood is flowing
From the cuts
Inflicted to her wrists
A knife lays gleaming
With her blood
Next to a letter
Saying he is dead

Laying in her bed
Desperatly in need
Of the one person she's loved
The only one to ever care
Memories come flooding back
Mostly good, yet some bad
As her pulse starts to slow
Rememberance of her perfect day
Just 3 days before he left
He asked her to become his wife
Sadly she smiles
And closes her eyes
Drawing her last breath
