Never knew you was there

by Luciee   Jan 23, 2006

Silence of the few
Until i took the chance to get to know you
The bullies taunt everything you do
So its time to stand up and make a move
I used to feel what you feel today
And i still get grief, in every way
I know the pain from yesterday
And how the words just seem to replay
Your name turned
As my stomach churned
I recognized the hurt
From being pushed around, and treated like dirt
They taunt the features that make you, you
Things that make you want to undo
But these things are forever and hard to replace
You will get through all this hate
Because from the years of pain
Strengh inside is what you gain
Just because we are not as strong as you may think
Doesn't mean you can make us cry with every blink
So why don't you just move onto the next victim
As here you are done and over with me and him
You think my smile is permanently there
But underneath is someone who cares
You never thought i would be like this with you
But I've been through more than you already knew
A friendship born
Because of the hatred formed
So now we rejoice and share the pain
Because i don't want you to turn into me that way
The things I've done are hard to explain
But just to let you know that the pain never fades
All you can do is express your fears
And look forward into next year
For you cannot let words bring you down
As they are just words, correct that frown
