Suffocation From Within

by Sean Brady   Jan 23, 2006

Suffocation from within
Stretching nerves to be ever so thin
A pain youd like to forget
A past experience you regret
The vein-straw theory coming in to view
This pain is anything and everything but familiar and new
A kink in a hose
And the bend in your elbows
Its the only way to describe this feeling
This feeling of locked tight sealing
The bleeding out of your nose and your ears
Crying blood from your tears
You eventually can tell when the end nears

A pill to make you calm
A pill to make you sane
A pill to make you vomit your insides
In a beautiful display of pesticides
Coated with your meals of the day
Rotting meat left in the open to decay
Cant tell the difference between blood and vomit in your throat
Its like swimming in a bile filled moat

From ashes to ashes and dust to dust
Missing the feelings of resent and lust
Bleeding internally is the only way you can bleed
And have no one in the world know how you feel or what you need
All food of all types have lost its taste
A heart hidden from yourself for the greater good
Or just simply misplaced
A stress induced coma force feeding itself into your life
Insides being torn open with thousands of knives
The hidden secrets between husbands and wives
The feeling of rejection from your own body
No longer wanted nor needed
Lifes not something that can be pleaded
