Father

by kels   Jan 8, 2004

Your Father has died,
He has passed away,
Just remember one thing,
I'm here to stay.

Forever and always,
I will be there for you,
When ever you need me,
Even after I say 'I do'.

I'm here for you,
Like you were always there for me,
When ever we talked,
You wiped away all my misery.

He still loves you,
He is still in your heart,
Forever he will be happy,
You will never have to part.

You must keep faith,
You must be strong,
Everything will be alright,
You can do no wrong.

A tear in your eye
Becomes much more,
When your father has died,
You feel washed on an empty shore.

No place to go,
No plase to hide,
Just let you it all cool,
You can't keep it inside.

One faint memory,
A whisper in your ear,
A slight tap on the shoulder,
And it all comes out simple and clear.

You miss your father
Everyone knows,
Don't deny the truth,
Because it shows.

He is your hero,
He is your father,
You can't replace him,
There is no other.

To Hubby,
with all my love,
Wifey
