Strangers

Strangers are what we are now
Trying hard to make it through each day
The eyes that used to show so much love
Are filled with nothing but pain

I remember the time we were in love
So much in love, we couldnt stay apart
Now the same two hearts are living together
Under one roof with so much hurt

We used to spend so much time
Just talking and laughing for hours
Now its a mission to be in the same room
And spend five minutes with each other

How did we get here
Where did we go wrong
Why cant we work out our differences
And try harder to stay strong

The silence is killing me
Talking doesnt help much either
The more we try to talk things out
The distance just becomes further

Every night I cry myself to sleep
Why dont you see my tears
I wish you would try to understand me
And for once, just be near

Living with a stranger
Isnt an easy thing to do
Cant you see I am standing here
Reaching out for you

Lets work things out
I cant take this pain any longer
I will do what ever it takes
To be lovers again from strangers.
