I hope she knows

I hope she knows she's the best person I
have ever met.
I hope she knows that I will always be here
for her.
I hope she knows that she's my shining star.
I hope she knows that she was the light that
helped me get out of that dark space in
time.
I hope she knows that I never meant to hurt
her in anyway.
I hope she knows that I'm grateful for her life
and how she has shined on me and
given me hope.
I hope she knows that I will protect her even
if it means keeping myself away from her.
I hope she knows that I will do that, so that
she is protected and so that the next
time this happens with someone else, she
doesn't hurt herself more and keeps
herself protected.
I just hope she knows that she is my best
friend and it doesn't matter.
I hope she knows that love heals all.
