Because you think you've lost the fight

And the world seemed like a brighter place
I never thought we'd get together
Because I just wanted my own space

But in the end you made me happy
Which no one else could do
It's because you are so special
And because I feel safe when I'm with you

I never thought you'd hurt me
Because I never thought I cared
Until the day it happened
You caught me unprepared

Because you fell in love with me
You broke down and backed away
Because you're scared of complications
I'm running out of things to say

I didn't know I'd fell for you
As much that I now realise that I have
I miss you and I want you back
I love you too much to be mad
