Dedicated to a broken heart

The moment has come
I lay down before the rise of the sun
to some this may be a sin
to others they will praise my how and when
i cant believe i finally did what i had to do
tonight my only dream has a chance to come true
he broke my heart, my soul
thats the reason as to why i am here alone and cold
so many jotting down their plans for success
mine turned out to be a complete mess
i am now up above watching everyone wonder why
no one notices until they announce
the nicer people known as my friends are sad, bewildered as to why i left without a goodbye
let my thoughts haunt theirs
i want them to know the pain i hid deep inside
i don't wish this on anyone but i want them to have a closer look maybe one day like Mr. Martinez said is true they will be reading all about me inside of a book
i am left to say i am sorry i wasn't pretty enough
i know i wasn't the brightest crayon,
the shining star,
but inside i know i was something
something real
someone with a warm comforting feel
i am sorry to let everyone know what my dreams really were but this is only a poem a feeling that
soon will end but this will last forever in someone else's eye
because forever has no end.
