Scared to Love You II

Give you my lips
and let you kiss
me? Give you my
heart and let you
love me? Give you
my dreams and let
you, make them
come true?

From dripping
blood, to rainbow
glazed eyes. And
a broken heart, no
longer torn apart.
Getting ready for a
new start; and with
my heart in my hand
I give it to you. Still
I find I'm scared to
love you.

Open-up my eyes
and let you take me
by the hand? Give you
my life and let you be
my world?

Mascara smears,
and hidden fears.
Lipstick stains, and old
love letters tearing at
my skin. A heart so
closed, but my eyes
so open. Here I lye
hoping and missing
you. Still I find that
I am scared to love
you.
