This Love Is Dead!

by Unknown2Thyself   Jan 25, 2006

In this heart of mine,
there is nothing.
No feelings for you,
no love anymore.
There's just a numbness,
that fills my soul.
My heart is frozen,
I'm a cold hearted b***h.
This thing, you and me,
never should have happened.
It was a mistake,
one that I'll never make again.
For as I stand here I realize,
this love is dead.
Your kisses do nothing,
except make my stomach turn.
When you hold me in your arms,
I wish I was somewhere else.
As you talk,
I start to lose focus.
So as you can see,
this love is dead.
I wish I could say I'm sorry it's over,
but the truth is I'm glad.
No longer will I have to see you,
and no longer will I have to listen to you whine.
Cutting you out of my life,
is what I'm doing.
Don't look so sad,
you knew it wouldn't last.
You do nothing for me anymore,
just make me wish I was dead.
So now do you understand why I say,
this love is dead?
It's not because I want it to be,
OK maybe that's not true.
I want to find a guy,
who's nothing like you.
So move aside and let me go,
for this love of ours is dead!
