The filthy secret

by Nil   Jan 25, 2006

A box full of memories
Left alone to forget
filled with photographs
All brimming with regrets

Pieces of dirty laundry
Hidden away from view
every dirty deed done
and no one ever knew

skeletons in the closet
Sealed away forever
Collecting dust
Never to see light again ever

All the filthy little secrets
Kept inside your heart
Fearing someone might find out
what exactly ripped you apart

all the fake laughter
And all the giggles too
mixed with Flirtatious glances
from the old you

your lying smiles
and crying tears
only when you're alone though
so no one can hear

With horrid outfits
too Tight and not so pure
The answer to your loneliness
wasn't the needed cure

Just dig deeper everyday
Making wishes to go away
Just like the box forgotten
The Laundry unwashed
The skeletons locked away
Forever alone and never touched...
