I Won't Give Up

Urges come over me,
The tears continue to flow,
Patience really is the key,
I don't think I can stand this though.

I put the blade to my arm,
One small cut won't cause any harm,
I pause and think a little more,
I quickly shove the blade back in the drawer.

I don't want to give in,
It's not what I want to do,
I don't want the others to win,
This is something that I want to get through.

I won't let my friends down,
I'm not going to screw around,
I won't give up, that's a pact,
I won't give up, that's a fact.

[I really don't like my poetry lately but I think that when I'm stable again it'll go back to semi-good, lol]

    I agree this is a very good peice. and it is really impressive that you are resisting cutting, i've tried giving up many times but never managed it, so really find it impressive and almost inspiring that you are doing so, good luck.
