Dear lord in heaven, father god in the sky

the world is going crazy, i need you in my life

please send down an angel, to guide me each day

please cover me in your blood and show me the right way

my life is out of hand and I'm starting to fall deeper

deeper into peer pressure and temptation, i need you as my keeper

i find myself drinking more and drugs don't sound bad

sex feels good but I'm going down the wrong path

help me, guide me, take me under your wing

i want to do right but I'm on the wrong team

I'm walking down a road holding no future at all

I'm standing on ice and without you I'll fall

I've replaced you with sin and now i need you back

please lord help me get my life back on track
