A poem for daddy

Daddy why can't you just see
that the little girl your looking at isn't me
you said your going to send me away
but have you ever thought of me being okay
daddy can't you feel it in your heart
that what your doing is tearing me apart
can't you see the tears in my eyes
don't you know every thing i say is nothing but lies
daddy i don't understand why
we always fight till i begin to cry
daddy why am i always abused
by you i don't understand I'm so confused
why don't you ever see the pain
that you give me it's making me insane
daddy i just want you to see
I'm not a kid no more so please let me be free
how will i grow and now what to do on my own
if you always have to be by my side you never leave me alone
daddy you need to let go of my hand
i hope you know what I'm saying please understand
mostly cause of you and the abuse i want to die
and tell every one i love good bye

well this goes for my dad that doesn't see the way i feel he abused me and made me cry he doesn't leave me alone to make my mistakes and learn to do things on my own he treats me like I'm 4 so you see
