Happy Anniversary

by Vic   Jan 27, 2006

Since we met, it's been so long.
My love for you grows moreso strong.
Standing flawlessly is my love for you.
A simple flight would see that through.
A year to celebrate where we've arrived,
So special since our feelings grew with time.
Through thick and thin, through sickness and health,
Not a marriage, but it might as well be.
Since my love for you remains untarnished and unbroken,
These words remain purely a sign; my love's undying token.
Realize we've two anniversaries more,
In the same year, so it'll be poem's galore.
I love you, your heart I'll always treasure.
Until February fourth and Valentine we'll speak again for sure.
Holding on to the dreams and the road far ahead,
I'll love you more, even after I'm dead.
My sweetheart, my only desire,
Wait for me, for my love won't retire...
