Cannot get free

"You'd be better off dead",
Say the voices in my mind,
"They all hate you",
"You cause them all pain",
I cannot ignore this voice,
For all it says id true,
I would be better off dead,
For my soul to leave this place,
My body to rot and decay,
to escape this life,
and free others from me,
from the miss-fortune I bring,
Free them from the curse,
That is I,
I have no reason left to stay,
Yet I cannot leave,
Trapped in an icy cage,
Cold and alone,
I have every reason to go,
Gain nothing by staying here,
It is better for no one that i remain,
But there is no way out,
no hidden exit,
Only the forbidden door.
