Fall

by Hareem   Jan 27, 2006

Fall, the rains from the scudding ebony clouds
Down an innocent girl cries, her eyes they tame

Fall, the leaves off their trees in autumn
Their halcyon days are gone, they mourn in flame

Fall, the words from my lips with exquisite stir
They tell of the world, saying everything but your name

Fall the fellows in matters of heart and soon realize
Vying with the world; it's in fact too hard a game

Fall, the standards of feelings and relationships
Their beloved have left, fate's disloyalties they blame

Fall, the tears off my eyes; is it a false grief?
How could you leave when you never came!
