Marks on my arm

I have scratches on my arm
from causing myself harm

i don't normally go so deep
but this time i was in mid weep

so i didn't see what i was doing
i didn't know how deep i was going

but the marks are left on me
this is how it must be

i usually use a hair clip
because my flesh it cant rip

but mi hair clip i lack
so i had to use a tack

and the edge of the pin
can easily go through my skin

so I'm left with marks on my arm
from causing myself harm
