I walk through the field, searching for traces of you
Your scent lingers, and my eyes search
I see your form, turning the corner, just ahead of me
I chase you, and you run.....not even looking back
What have I done, that you have to run away?
It makes no sense, and I have to forget
Closing my eyes,
I fall defeated and smash against the earth and I let out my fury
I pound my fists and I scream
Yet you keep running
After a while, I collapse on the earth I tortured
And my human form awakes with a sudden jerk
And breathes, her hand clinging to her heart,
While a single pearl glides down her cheek.
