Longing

by silhouette fairy   Jan 27, 2006

You, I've been longing for
the sweet smell of your clothes
the small wisps of love you show
you, the one I'm longing for

you, I've been longing for
the gentle curve of your lips as they smile
the careful caress of your finger tips
you, the one I'm longing for

you, I've been longing for
the taste of your kisses
the scent of your hair
you, the one I'm longing for

you, I've been longing for
the look in your eyes
the beat of your heart
you, the one I'm longing for

you,I've been longing for
the tone of your voice
the heat of your love
you, the one I'm longing for

you, I've been longing for
the love we may have
the depth of our love
you, the one I'm longing for

you, I've been longing for
the desire of "us"
the hope i have
you, the one I'm longing for

you, I've been longing for
the simple push, may help
the colliding of our fears and love
you, the one I'm longing for

you, I've been longing for
the sweet success of our love
the sorrow dismay of our love
you, the one I'm longing for

you, I've been longing for
the time has now run out
the love is now gone
you, the one I'm longing for

I like this poem, but in my opinion I think you've overused the words " you, I've been longing for" and " you, the one I'm longing for." Thats just in my opinion, but yea I liked it. Keep writing.
