Childhood memories.

by Shelby   Jan 27, 2006

Swinging on the swings,
Playing in the mudd,
Chasing the ice cream truck,
Childhood memories gone down the drain.
Life was so precious to us then,
Are heads full of dreams,
Likely to never come true.
Never missing a school dance,
No drama in our lives.
We all were friends,
No one could break us apart.
We've gotten older,
And I don't even recognize you anymore,
I wish it all was the same,
Our laughter just a freckle in my mind,
We had the time of our lives,
And now I must continue high school with you no longer my best friend.
Its hard seeing what we've become.
How everyone has changed.
How we've changed.
But something that we'll never change, is my love for you.
