The Paranoia

by ntv650   Jan 28, 2006

Took the longest quiet walk out in the countryside,
It was early january and the sun was softly shining.
I walked down the street at night in total silence,
Undernath the humble glow of a moon waning.

I wandered outside barefoot into a long garden,
Tree's and droplets of rain dancing in front of me.
I even sat beneath the night of sky, waiting for it.
Knowing I would only find, if I were lost here.

And I guess it helps me to explain, so many things.
The seperate worlds everyone else simply cant see,
Earth's waters and winds that try to carve my heart.
Ocean's north star that guides every wandering bark!

But Oh no! I spy the gale that sweeps you from me!
I notice how the city lights only shine for sweet you,
And I can finally discern words fake and words real.
Yet I still fear that life might try tear you from me!
