A Whisper On The Wind

A long scary freefall down to the living earth
from the very first second of its shortly birth
through dark misty clouds in the sky to unbound
until it gently splashes on the wet rainy ground

one by one they slowly all fall down and down
drip by drip on the wet streets in a ghostly town
to form a small river and stream along my feet
as I walk through the rain lonely down the street

I see reflections on the wet mirroring bricks
while the dark winter wind giving me gentle licks
and whisper in my ear a sound just like a kiss
something I really need on a dark rainy night like this

when the cold moves around me and penetrating my skin
as my mind slowly drifts away on the same howling wind
letting me daydream about a lovely girl in my mind
which protects me a lifetime long of the darkness within

then I stopped walking in the middle of this night
mist now has surrounded its fog around my twisted feet
staring at the other side of the dark rainy street
looking in the eyes of a girl chasing away my fright

there she stood across the misty street staring at me
looking in my innocent eyes penetrating my soul and mind
a beautiful blond blue eyed girl I always wanted to see
an imagination of the perfect girl I thought I wont ever find

with spread arms I run across the empty street and close my eyes
hug the imagination in my mind and fall down on the rainy street
searching for the beautiful blond girl I always wanted to meet
the daydream, a whisper on the wind searching trough the skies
