No one knows her

Do you see that girl over there?
With the bright blue eyes and the dark brown hair

She looks nice, but that's only the outside
I guess no one knows how many tears she's cried

She tries to hide the pain she feels everyday at school
Taking all the ridicule from the kids who get to be "cool"

But those kids don't really her When she puts on a fake smile
Cus in their eyes its the fame and glory that make life worthwhile

None knows the dreams she has or the pain she tries to hide
None cares to listen to the words she holds inside.

So she writes them down on paper, where nothing will talk back
It locks a shield around her that nobody's ever cracked.

Maybe someday when she's all grown up those kids will try to see
the girl that no one ever knew,
and the girl she tried to be.
