Can't Sleep Thinkin of You

by эﯼcลℓลδγ   Jan 28, 2006

Last night I couldn't sleep,
So I though I could write you something kind of deep.

I'm so glad I met you,
You taught me so much about who I am,
I grew and matured so much knowing you.
You taught me to not give a damn.

Though our views on things may not be the same,
you never put me to shame.
You have this gift, it makes me smile,
You make life seem more enjoyable than it really is.
You tell me these stories that always make me laugh,
how many fights you get into, or how high you were,
but My Story to you is only done half.
I honestly envy you,
You taught me so much, yet there is still one thing.
Somehow you're so free,
you do whatever you feel like,
and by doing so, you help me be me.
You can tell me so honestly when I'm acting like a child,
and then you go tempting me to be so wild.
There's just something about you...ugh! I don't know,
but I know, no matter what, I'll never let go.
Our immature arguments we overcame.
We fight, and we hate, and we cause a little pain.
We find our way back to each other,
and sometimes it's even in the silliest ways.
But I know that through it all,
You're there for me, always strong and make me feel safe,
You're so Brave!
without you I barely got by,
but talking to you sometimes almost makes me fly so high.
You understand so much about me that I don't even know,
you calm me down, put my nerves to a flow.
I wanna tell you, how having you here really means to me,
but when I put my pen on paper,
my mind goes blank you see.
Memories fill my head,
some good, some bad...
but what matter's most is that I'm glad.
I can finally rest at night,
knowing I have you,
You make me blush pink when I'm feeling Blue.
So thank you and goodnight,
I hope you, my bestest buddy, sleeps tight.
