The Broken Promise

How could you do it,
it was so wrong.
It was so unlike you,
you promised you wouldn't tell.
You date her for a few months,
and my life with you goes to hell.
We used to be close,
until she came into the picture.
We pass by each other and say a shy hi,
but i know what we had was all a lie.
Now you leave me here to wonder,
how life would be if only she wouldn't have been there between me and you.
Now all we had is no more,
so leave me here to grieve while you go hand in hand with her smiling.
