Maiden

by John Fleece   Jan 29, 2006

Maiden of the night
Shadows that creep silently
For knowing not the path you take
Chains by your side
Life is one big lie
Blood dripping steadily
Coming form this wound
A swift strike to the heart
I'm in despair
For you see not
Your peril
As you walk amongst the moon and stars
Envious Hunters wait
For you, the prize
Now awake!

Unbelievable. I see this one as your deepest. It is uncredited, when it should be. My suggestion, feature it. Although, its title is a bit... startling. Perhaps I cannot read it the way it was meant to because I am blind to your experiences. 5/5
