Suicides in honour of true devotion.

by FlowerThatDied   Jan 29, 2006

The sunset tried to blind my eyes,
From your silent almost absent cries,
The night was cold, bleak and true,
The way no love could ever come through,

As the shimmers drifted past,
There in the corner was one of the cast,
Holding a knife to his side,
Like a fate I was forced to abide,
I watched him cut,
The blood was shed,
From the man I could never dread,

The sunset turned red with disgust and hate,
As I watched him fall, this could not be fate.
It was too dark he crawled away,
In his death place I watched him lay,

I tried to scream but nothing was heard,
As every vision of the sunset was confused and blurred,
I fell to my knees and grabbed the knife,
From which that man just took his life,

I dug so deep I could hardly breathe,
I couldn't move, in my mind I seethed,
The wishes in my mind in complete depths of sin,
Heaven's gates would never let me in.

The night was bloody, just One suicide was committed,
For he awoke and was acquitted,
For his deeds by the Devil in Hell,
But I never had the time to tell
That amazing man just how I felt,
For the worst card I was dealt,
And so maybe you'll understand,
Always devote All your love to just one man.
