Haunted

Walking down this shadow of darkness
No lines or bounders to follow
Bleeding internally my blood these shadows shall swallow
Leaving no sign or mark of where I've traveled or been
Begging for forgiveness renewing myself from my sin
Trying to forget my past and move on
But still they come out of the shadows and follow me they are eternally drawn
I can never travel by myself my past will never leave me alone
Coming out of the snakes pit trying to pry open my dead and dieing soul
Casting spells leading to a wicked torment
Where these shadows were sent
Fingers make signs and direct them to my heart
They desperately try to tear it apart
But here to my rescue was my guardian angel here to save me
He sets the stars in my dark sky to grant a wish so I would be set free
Wish on a star "I wish they would stop" this place is always dark
No need to worry they only left just a mere mark
The dust of the stars just appear on my nostril trying to make ends with my past life
As the sinners of my past dance along my nose holding a knife
They fight for victory they try to attack
The hurt pain and depression they fight to bring back
Trying to pry open Pandora's box, which held in it my hidden happiness joy and secrets
They lay here in snake's pit as my guardian angle rest's he head on Pandora's box trying not to sweat
My past he tries to help me forget
He tries he's best to keep my past life a secret
Yet still I still get haunted by my past
By these shadows and spelled that were cast
Walking my past with no signs of me
I'm still haunted by what I use to be
