I'd rather die today than live a thousand years without you.

But I'd also rather die than watch you for a thousand years knowing you're all that I need but never can have.

Or perhaps I'd watch you for that thousand years, just to see your beautiful smile.

Either way I wouldn't make it because neither option would give me you, and without you, I would die.
