Lovers escape

We pack up our clothes,
and precious possessions,
We head for the streets,
away from our depressions,

Of our miserable lives,
the pain and the tears,
No more living in danger,
not even any more fears,

We find a nice spot,
to stay for the night,
in the pitch black,
not even one light,

I feel so safe here,
curled up close to you,
Sleeping so softly,
you stroke my hair too,

We wake up in the morning,
feeling so refreshed,
We carry on our adventure,
our journey, our quest,

We are happy together,
this prince and princess,
Our end is a happy one,
together, we're blessed!
