I guess you never understood
how much this meant to me.
You never really took the time
to truly look and see...

My world was breaking down
and you didn't have a clue,
I was lost at what to think...
I didn't know what to do.

Forever I had tried to be
who you wanted me to be.
I tried so damn hard

Living in a cage,
created by my own hand,
forced to do your wishes.
Obey you're very command.

But now I've given up.
No longer shall I care.
This life of lies is deadly,
too much for me to bare.

So I'll lift my face up to the sky-
