Memories

by The Wingless   Jan 30, 2006

How long has this journey been?
Feels like I've been going forever,
For that one moment,
That I stopped to rest,
Was it a higher power,
Or was it my own will?
I heard a voice telling me,

Awake, Awake,
Among the waves I can return memories.

Beyond old dreams,
Beyond old days,
A sacred seed asks for water,
Beyond old days,
Beyond old dreams.
I realize I am myself,
And we found each other.

If all we can do is lose our hearts,
And wait for this to end,
Then our history is fading,
What do you expect me to do now?

Awake, Awake,
Among the waves I can return memories.

Somewhere inside the distant memories,
Somewhere sits something sleeping,
Will it grow and live,
Or will it shrink and whither?
And if so, is this the end?

When sin covers us with its song,
The land will suffer,
And we will suffer,
We must understand.

Awake, Awake,
Among the memories I can return memories.

Let us not forget,
Heaven, land and sea,
Let us not forget,
That memories hold the truth.
Let us not forget,
They have been here forever.
