Broken Freindship

Slowly I watch as you fade away.
Becoming a dot in the distance.
A friendship I thought so strong,
is broken!

We climbed the tallest mountains,
Swam the largest rivers,
Braved the fierce dangers,
We tested our friendship through it all.

Each day that passed our friendship grew stronger.
Becoming a unbreakable bond between us.
I never thought there'd come a day,
when you'd walk away from it all.

The wall of our friendship began to crumble.
Brick by brick, piece by piece it fell apart.
Slowly but surly our friendship was ended.
Taking a piece of me with it.

This is my goodbye to you,
for I can not stand to look at you anymore.
I told you my darkest secrets,
and my deepest fears.

Still you left taking so much of me with you,
I hope one day you can forgive yourself,
But I never will!
