Phoenix

by Kylead   Jan 30, 2006

One phoenix dies
Another to rise from the ashes
setting fire to the sky
soaring through the blazing sky

unafraid of man or beast because the phoenix rules the sky
it causes havoc
causes panic
it feeds on man and beast alike
but no man can do anything for the phoenix rules the skies

all attempts have failed
the phoenix with its red hot fire
burns human weapons such as guns and steel
the phoenix traps them in wildfire
but the phoenix is a bird of pray and lets them go
to try and run away
because the phoenix knows he is the ruler of the skies

people start to run as they see the burn of the phoenix eyes
but no one can escape his flames
for the phoenix will swoop down
and pick them off one by one
one by one the soldiers ranks were burnt to embers
100s of soldiers one phoenix to bring down
but even through the olds of 100s to 1

The phoenix flies away because beast and human a like all know the phoenix rules the skies!!!!

I liked it. i liked how you used some dramatization! 9sorry if i spelled it wrong!) N-E-WAYZ! Thanx for the comment on my poem, and the answer to your question is my teacher was talking about how her son was going of to war, and how he got injured. So i brought out a peice of paper, and my pencil and i wrote down my thoughts! But you being 16 and going off to war? I have known a few courageus people, but none a can say went to war! Well, i am proud that a poet is going to war! Be careful, and come back in one peice so that i can read some more of your poems! 5/5 KEEP IT UP!
