Key to the Soul

by JL   Jan 30, 2006

Dark brown orbs
Filled so with emotion
Twisted turmoil
From life's commotion

Endless abyss
Spill secrets from the soul
Ashamed memories
Keep her from being whole

Wavering slightly
Yet cannot look away
Thoughts kept inside
Each and every day

Enveloped in tears
Holding bad and pain
Voices scream
Making courage wane

Mystical orbs
Key to the soul
Too many locks
For her to ever be whole

Sometimes its hard to let go of things that haunt us for there is no one to tell so we keep the secrets inside. Very moving and heartfelt, written beautifully.
