This gray truth without her

by chris c   Jan 31, 2006

These crystals fall from my eyes.
The pain,
the sorrow,
the hurt,
the lies.

This is the pain I feel inside.
Of a different life,
Without the pain,
without the lies.
The truth of a life never to come, the truth of a life that has died inside.
I walk around in this cold dark world.
This world of gray,
of sadness of pain.
This gray that follows me every where I am.
The gray follows me like the sad silent cinemas of old.

Why do these crystals fall from my eyes?
The rose of my broken heart has died.
The red drops of crystals of a former life.
Seems to show the only color of emotion in my sad gray life.

The song of Beethoven's"Moonlight Sonata" follows me around,
the only sound I hear.
Everlasting sorrow.
Everlasting pain.
Everlasting cries.
All from the crystals of my eyes.
