As time drags on.
second by second,
minuet by minuet.
My eyes close slowly with every breath,
trying to find some meaning,
of why I am here.
Time speeds up..
or so it seems.
Unaware of the world around me.
Drifting off once again.
Wishing I was an angel sent from heaven,
on earth, to be a saint.
Figuring out...life has its own meaning..
it comes..it goes..it ends..it lasts..
So many thoughts have gone unsaid,
so many people left to meet,
and so many responsibilities wanting to be forgotten.
Moments happen, memories are made.
Long lasting feelings that are craved within.
It's times like these I wish the moment would never end.
Love and trust fill souls, as they laugh and smile with dreams ahead.
Dreams ahead seem so far,
on the verge of becoming impossible.
So many mysteries lie throughout the future,
constantly looking ahead in time,
always regretting the past.
But never living in the moment,
were memories last.
