We wanted to say hello to you
But we all turned around and you had gone

Looking at the empty chair knowing that u wasn’t there
May be not physically but we know you were there.

I don’t know if u knew about my dreams
But I’ve had quite a few
About you and being in hospital I knew I should have told you.

Richard and me are sorry Nan for not saying good-bye
But we’d like to say thank you and wish you fare well and good-bye.

Just because we’ve said good bye
Just don’t think that you can just go
Because in a few yeas time we’ll be popping up to say hello
