I loved this poem. The details really pulled me in. It was as if I was the vampire, seeing it through his eyes. I really liked;
i leave my mark on the softness of their skin
the mark on their neck left from the monster within
I could feel the battle between good and evil in these lines. It's as if he has a constant struggle with who he is and what he has become.
I also liked; and though i feed on the living, i myself am dead'
It really pulls at you that something that is dead could be so dangerous. It had a really strong ending, leaving me almost feeling bad for this vampire. A new favorite of mine. 5/5
