Imaginary

by Reem   Jan 31, 2006

Pure as doves,Cuddly like a pillow,
So pleasing,
So idyllic,
Something that one can't handle.
Hearts flatter,
Bodies soften,
Eye gazing at such a seductive grin,
My cheeks turn rosy,As he steps forward..
My heart trembles,
Security surrounds me,
His hand strokes my face,
As I long for warmth,
His arms delicately pull me closer,
As I long for love,
My heart begins to race,
As I long for passion,
My lips touch his,
Arms wrapped around him,
I stroke his shoulders,
So lustful,
So dream-like it was,
Suddenly,
Our lips begin to isolate,
Hands begin to detach,
Which I try to grasp again,
Wishing for another kiss,
I turned around,
I look back,
Wanting a glimpse of his eyes,
Departed he was..

As I started to weep,
Eyes flooded with tears,
Something I could not hold,
They run through my cheeks,
Something I couldn't neglect..
No remedy,
No looking back,
Full of relent I was,
Slanted on a wall,
Yearning for love,
Groaning for belonging,
Hands stretched on the wall,
Longing for warmth again,

Reticent I became..

Reticent,I will be. ©
