I know I seem so far away from you but really I'm not at all

You left me a little note on the stone and a written note of how you feel

I came here to tell you its not all that great up here with out you

I found my way back to you from heaven tonight

To answer your question I just had to leave, I just had to leave

I know I cant wake up right next to you any more

I think of it would be if I was still down there with you

You keep every picture of us up on your wall

I'd give up everything just to hear you say the sound of my name

In heaven angels sing all day long

I love the flowers you leave me every month and how you still care

if I could I'd come down and tell you I'm miserable with out you here by my side

It seems like it could of been prevented but it couldn't of

we both know that the weather isn't perfect when we die

we know its not better when we leave loved ones behind the day that we die
