Broken Heart

A bleeding heart deep inside,
A saddness a girl tries to hide.
A beating heart torn in two,
She cries because he wasn't true.
A tear falls, a blue stained cheek,
She was the girl of the week.
She pleads the pain will go away,
But there's nothing anyone can say.
A knife just doesn't do the trick,
This blood makes her sick.
She thought he loved her so,
But he just let her go.
A broken heart will heal someday,
But that is just a tear away.
