Our Eternity

by Ann   Jan 11, 2004

Impulses rushing through my body,
As I notice his eyes are on me.

My cheeks are red, my lips are trembling,
As I realize it's only beginning.

A touch of fear a touch of love,
As though it's a sign from above.

I pray to God, I pray to Lord,
And thank him for this piece of heaven.

To scared to speak, I smile away,
Because I know this time he's here to stay.

From corner to corner, his lips are curved,
As he walks closer to get what he deserves.

My heart pounds faster with every step,
The closer he gets the faster it gets.

Before me he stands to say hello,
As he comes closer ever so slow.

My breath begins to increase,
As the distance from our lips decrease.

Feeling him breathe upon my face,
As our lips touch I'm taken to another place.

Relaxed by his gentle touch,
I close my eyes and see us.

I see forever to eternity,
I see us two, just you and me.
