More than a Picture

Looking back on these photographs,
Happy memories from our past,
So many times we danced together,
Now these times have gone to fast,

You all made me so happy,
More than anyone ever could,
I know the love is there,
It can't be mistaken or misunderstood,

We listened to music,
My rock and your hip hop,
How I wish I could go back,
To see you, not to shop,

My heart is this hard,
I didn't want to leave your side,
Since I cried those tears,
You've not left from my mind,

My life seems so empty incomplete,
If only you were 5 minutes away,
Instead of more than 5 miles,
I'd see you each and every day,

The tears I wish did not flow,
So cold and unkindly,
I only I was back there,
Where I belong, between you and a good cd,

I miss that time,
How I felt so free,
I was happy,
Just to be me,

Goodbye, I'll never forget,
I'll see you again someday I know,
But until then, remember I love you,
And won't ever let you go.
