The girl who was never good enough for you

by BrokenMemoriex   Feb 1, 2006

She's all tortured up inside
All because of what you did
The intense hurt you inflicted
None of your love she'll now need

She still daydreams of your past
No matter how much it was scarred
The ugly truth strikes her once more
Yet again breaking her fragile heart

Monotone fills her melancholy days
Spine-tingling thoughts run through her
A sad memory suddenly strikes
The almost lifeless broken girl

Blue flashbacks, then tears
This painful procedure repeats
Never a day without a swollen eye
Or dreadful incessant heartbeats

The air of dejectedness she carries
An eternity of heartrending reminiscence
The essence of wretchedness
And the element of despondence

She knows the dread of remembrance
She's silently living with the mark
And when her thoughts overflow
She faces her fears alone in the dark

Her life revolves around a lachrymose tune
One that is eternal; that is endless
Her smile leaks a sign of misery
Nothing but pensive sadness

Her reflection no one can understand
Intense feelings but no one to pour out to
Beneath her cheery mask lies her true identity
The girl who was never good enough for you...

That is so true, and I too can relate to this. So much heart into it and so much deep feelings. I would definatly give this a 5/5. Keep up the good work. And also I have a few poems of my own too.
