Sin of my Life

by Sarah   Feb 1, 2006

I often lay awake at night
Wondering if my life is right
Everyday I hear that I'm wrong
I know this, but I'm still young
All I hear that it's a sin to be gay
This isn't your life, I'm gonna live it my way
I can't help the way that I feel
From years to come, I will love her still
Why do you have to label me
I'm just like you, why can't I be free
People think I don't know the words they speak
And how most people think I'm a freak
I am a person just like you
So leave me alone, and you will see the real me too
