I'll live for both of us

~I'll live for both of us~

Many a day I've known you friend,
We've shared many laughs,
and we've had many crys.

I'd remember where we'd talk for hour on end,
underneath the willow tree,
lying down and staring up at the clouds.

The gentle breeze blowing through are hair,
We'd run around, wishing we could fly,
but you won't be able to feel the wind anymore my friend,
because of this, it's no ones fault.

I simple slot of advents,
a saddened ripple in time,
figment of everyones imagination.

You'll never talk to me again,
I realize this now,
You'll never make me laugh,
or cry.

But I'm at peace my friend,
don't ask me why.
I don't know if it's wrong, or why i am,
but I'm at peace.

You may never run through the fields,
so I'll run twice as hard for the both of us,
You may never make another soul laugh again,
so I'll make them laugh for the both of us,
You'll never love anyone anymore,
so I'll love everyone twice as much.

I'll live for you and me,
for god in all his perfections,
knows what is best.

And even though your not here for all of us to see,
you'll live on in all of our hearts,
you'll be that little missing piece,
that every one needs to find and remember;
and as long as i remember,
that I'm living for both of us now,
you'll live forever,
in my heart.
