Under a Hidden Moon

by Busted Halo   Feb 2, 2006

Running through the white forest, under a hidden moon
I feel my heart beating faster, pounding, thumping, drumming
Didn't think he would ketch up so soon
Th frost from wind is kissing my lips as i weave in between the trees.
Swiftly he moves, bringing with him my certain doom.
I hear the twigs and leaves breaking beneath me.
I feel Ive used up my last energy boom.

Alas,we both come to a Holt.
As I turn to look,I see a lucid gleam in its eye.
He thirsts for my blood.
I can't get away.
He wont stop Till I die.
Just for a second I think about running again.
He will for sure find me if I run and hide.
One way or another,he will get me,I wont even try.

The only warmth i have is off of its breath and nothing to comfort me except the chill of night.
An eternity has passed before he takes his first step.
I take aback, but I keep his eye in sight.
He thrusts toward me.
I hit,i kick,I scratch,he wont let me go....and then I receive his bite.

Bind IT feet, blind its eyes,do what you like, but nothing (not even you) can stop the vampire from biting you tonight.

(I promise I will comment on your poems if u comment on mine)
