Pure Bliss

In June last year it happened so fast,
Everything turned for the best,
I felt bliss inside me strongly at last,
Tears dried and I felt truly blessed.
Every slice of pain fall away,
Beauty grew and depression died,
I felt delight in place of dismay,
Knowing this happened because I tried.

I look to the perplexity of last year
Knowing I still feel some pain,
But the reason for this is incredibly clear
I know this battle was never in vain.
It was an immense struggle to get to this,
But I had to feel misery to know pure bliss.
